Our PLACE relies on the generosity of community members like you to maintain a 1:4 ratio of caregivers to participants while keeping tuition fees as low as possible. If you can offer four to eight hours per week of your time, we will thoroughly train and support you.  ​

  • URGENT NEED - Fundraising Team Member: Work with the fundraising committee to develop and facilitate fundraising campaigns and events.

  • Program Assistant: Work directly with the participants under the supervision of the Program Director.

  • Clerical Assistant: Provide administrative support to the Executive Director in such areas as making and answering phone calls, designing and printing flyers and other materials, organizing and filing documents.

  • Bookkeeper: Enter data into bookkeeping program, generate invoices, post payments, etc. (May be done from home.)

  • ​Facilities Decorator: Change bulletin boards and other displays on a regular basis with emphasis on seasonal and participant activities.

  • Legal Consultant: Review documents and policies to be sure they are in compliance with all legal requirements.

  • Pet Therapy Coordinator: Arrange and schedule pet therapy visits.

  • Music Program Coordinator: Arrange for guest performers and other musical programs for participants.

  • Arts and Crafts Coordinator: Develop daily craft activities for participants; bring in guests with special craft skills for demonstrations and/or lessons.

  • Special Events Coordinator: Plan and supervise special events such as an “Open House,” Christmas Party, Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon, etc.

  • Marketing Assistant: Help to promote Our PLACE by taking pictures, updating our Facebook page and other social media, and designing flyers and other print media.
