Our PLACE Volunteers

Our PLACE volunteers provide crucial support to our program operations.  Our volunteers can dedicate their time in many ways, including the following:

• Regular/Daily Volunteers - Regular volunteers provide supportive assistance on a regular basis to the participants with all activities, always ensuring safety; and provide companionship and active listening.  

• Special Volunteers - These volunteers perform assigned activities to support safe and effective therapeutic, social and entertaining services provided at Our PLACE.  This work will include interaction with clients and will be focused on interests, talents, hobbies and pets that the volunteer can share as an activity for the participants.  

• Program Support Volunteers - Program support will perform assigned activities to support safe and effective services provided at Our PLACE.  This work may occasionally include interaction with clients but will generally be focused on activities supporting the program, e.g. admin, technology, building maintenance and landscaping, outside events, and fundraising.
