Admission Criteria

– Ambulatory or semi-ambulatory

– Capable of basic self-care

– Continent or manageable incontinence

– Able to adapt to group settings

Admission Process

Self-referral, physician referral, or community referral. Scheduled assessment interview with participant and caregiver. Medical examination report required upon enrollment.

Services Provided

The staff are trained in dementia-specific interventions, including exercise, active and passive games, discussion groups, reminiscent therapy, current events, music therapy, pet visits, arts and crafts, intergenerational contact, gardening, travelogues, guest speakers, educational programs. 

Our Place is a field training site for various area student interns in the related areas 

of nursing, social work and occupational therapy.

Fees

Monthly tuition rate based on 2, 3, 4, or 5 days per week
